From the L2 (medium wheelbase) to the L5 (extra-long wheelbase), every Transit Chassis Single Cab derivative is built with a robust ladder-frame chassis. This provides a flat, strong base on which to build your perfect vehicle. And with a maximum payload of 2,755 kg, you’ll be able to configure the van however you like.

With a range of advance hybrid of diesel powertrains, the Chassis Single Cab is the perfect blend of power and efficiency. The four 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines offer up to 185PS of horsepower and 415 Nm of torque. For the first time, you can choose a Ford EcoBlue Hybrid powertrain, helping maximise efficiency and minimise emissions. And to meet the stringent emissions regulations, the Transit Chassis Single Cab is also available with 130PS or 170PS Heavy Duty diesel engine.
Technology and Safety
The Transit Chassis Cab comes equipped with a range of technologies to make driving enjoyable and safe. While behind the wheel, you can use Adaptive Cruise Control with advanced radar technology that scans for slower traffic in front of you. The Maximum Corner Control uses Torque Vectoring Control to react to the road surface 100 times per second, while the Side Wind Stabilisation help you the driver to stay in lane in strong and gusty conditions using Electronic Stability Control (ESC), perfect for the North Wales terrain.
The Transit Chassis Double Cab is designed to effortlessly move both cargo and your team, perfect if you need a crew van conversion.
Available in long to extra-long wheelbases, and built with a robust ladder-frame chassis, the Transit Chassis Double Cab provides a flat, strong base on which to build your perfect crew van conversion. And with a gross vehicle mass of up to 4,700 kg, you can tailor the van to the specific needs of your business, and still have room for up to six passengers.
Wide-opening doors provide easy access to the intelligently designed interior. The back row of seats can be lifted to reveal stowage for your tools, laptops, or other equipment you want to keep hidden. And the middle seat in the front row can be folded flat to be used as a handy work surface.
