Practical, hard-working and aesthetically pleasing, the Transit Custom is a mid-sized, versatile, front-wheel drive van designed to work hard for your business.
Whatever you do for a living, the Transit Custom is flexible enough to meet your needs. It comes in three variants: Van, Double Cab-in-Van and Kombi as well as two body lengths and two roof heights, allowing you to choose a combination that’s exactly right for you.
It now also has 3 body styles that can be specified with a single or dual passenger seat.
While the van is a fully-functional load carrier with two or three front seats and single or twin sliding doors, the Double Cab-in-Van offers two or three seats in the front row as well as a second row of three seats behind, and moulded glazed bulkhead. As for the Kombi, this can be used for cargo, passengers (seats up to 9) or both thanks to its removable seating areas.
The MS-RT Transit Custom represents the latest addition to the line-up, with a series of desirable enhancements being made to ensure this is MS-RT's most outrageous conversion to date. A strong emphasis has been placed on combining the character of the rally course with the versatility that is expected of Transit.
MS-RT vehicles are created in collaboration with motorsport legend Malcolm Wilson. We fuse tough and reliable Ford vehicles with a sporting edge. Each created by hand. We bring together some of the most experienced designers, advanced production techniques and skilled craftsmen in our South Wales production facility. We assemble all of our bespoke vehicles especially for you; upgrading interiors and remodelling external features which creates the ultimate commercial vehicle. The Transit Custom MS-RT is the ultimate expression of motorsport-inspired van design.
As well as being incredibly practical, the Transit Custom range is fuel efficient, with low emission levels that comply with the stringent new Euro Stage 6 emissions legislation. Transit Custom vehicles are powered by the Ford EcoBlue 2.0-litre 170PS FWD engines, which are renowned for their power and torque.
Safety on the road is of paramount importance, which is where advanced hands-free technology comes into play. Ford SYNC – the in-built communications and entertainment system on selected models – allows you to make and take hands-free calls via Bluetooth and control the music on your mobile device using your voice.
AppLink technology also enables you to control some of the most popular Android and iOS apps just by speaking. It is also supported by an Intelligent Speed Limiter and Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Alert.
Tough, versatile, and accommodating. The Transit Custom Double-Cab-in-Van combines passenger comfort with renowned Ford Transit toughness. So, you can easily take your team and their tools to the job.
Choose between two or three seats up front. Plus a spacious second row of seating allows for three additional passengers. A fixed bulkhead then separates the second row of seats from the rear loadspace.
And with two available wheelbase options, the Double Cab-in-Van has up to 4.4 cubic meters of load capacity in the L2 (long wheelbase) variant. That’s enough for two standard Europallets.

Its mechanical Limited-Slip Differential (manual transmission only) improves the Transit Custom Trail’s handling when driving off the beaten track by sending power to the wheels with the most traction. While a range of sophisticated engines improve efficiency and reduce emissions.
The Transit Custom Trail’s striking exterior styling, including a unique front grille with bold FORD lettering ensure you’ll stand out wherever you are. And 16" 10-spoke alloy wheels complete the look.
