About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Executive to join our team at W R Davies Head Office in Shrewsbury.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with around 2+ years’ marketing experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and have genuine ownership of their work.
You’ll work across our dealerships and vehicle brands, delivering a varied mix of digital marketing, social media, CRM, campaigns, events and content.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating engaging social media content, including video and photo content
- Managing day-to-day social media channels
- Updating website content, offers and Google Business Profiles
- Delivering manufacturer campaigns and local marketing activity
- Creating and coordinating email and SMS campaigns
- Supporting CRM and customer communications
- Assisting with Google and Meta paid media campaigns
- Organising events, promotions and experiential activity
- Briefing and managing external agencies, designers and suppliers
- Building marketing content and assets for W R Davies
- Monitoring campaign performance and customer response
- Working closely with Sales, Aftersales and manufacturer marketing teams
You’ll have support from internal team members, external agencies and specialists, so you won’t be expected to be an expert in every area of marketing.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in marketing, ideally with 2+ years’ practical experience
- Confident creating social content and comfortable working on camera
- Familiar with current social media platforms and trends
- Experienced in email marketing
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A strong written communicator and confident proofreader
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Proactive, practical and willing to take ownership
- Confident working with colleagues, agencies and external partners
- Commercially minded and interested in understanding what makes marketing effective
- Comfortable learning new systems and technologies
Experience with CRM, website management, SEO, paid media, analytics or event marketing would be beneficial.
Automotive experience is welcome but not essential. We’re more interested in your marketing experience, creativity, attitude and ability to get things done.

This is a site-based role and is not hybrid.
Salary: £27,000–£31,000 depending on experience
