The Motability Scheme is designed to keep you mobile, independent and worry-free, whether you're commuting, visiting friends or running daily errands. It includes insurance, routine servicing, maintenance and full breakdown cover for enhanced motoring assurance and confidence. You can also add adaptations tailored to your needs, with many provided at no extra cost to you. Drive with confidence, knowing everything’s taken care of.

Insurance cover Insurance is included for up to three named drivers, making it easier to share driving duties with carers, family members or companions who support your day-to-day mobility. Everyone listed is fully covered under the scheme, providing reassurance and added flexibility for every journey. Whether you're heading to appointments, doing some shopping or enjoying a day out, you're all protected on the road.
Breakdown cover RAC Motability Assist is included as standard, giving you reliable support every time you set off. Whether you're close to home or far away, you're covered in case of emergencies. If your vehicle ever lets you down, expert help is only a phone call away. If your vehicle breaks down, the RAC will attempt to fix it at the roadside. If immediate repair isn't possible, they will arrange recovery to a trusted repair centre or your home, ensuring you're not left stranded.
Servicing and MOT Regular servicing, maintenance and MOT testing are all included, making it easy to keep your vehicle running smoothly without unexpected costs or hassle. We cover everything from tyre repairs and battery replacements to windscreen and wiper fixes, so you don’t have to worry about the details. Just enjoy the drive and let us look after the rest.
Support for your electric car Charging your electric car is simple with Motability. You’ll get a Go Charge card for access to 50,000+ public chargepoints, and a bp pulse subscription if home charging isn’t possible. Use bp pulse’s route planner to find suitable chargers – and get help from your local W R Davies dealership team if needed. Remember, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Am I Eligible? You may qualify for the Motability Scheme if you receive a qualifying mobility allowance, such as Higher Rate Mobility Component or Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of PIP. Payments are deducted automatically every four weeks and sent directly to Motability by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or Veterans UK, so there’s nothing extra for you to manage.
