Sales Controller - Citroën/DS

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our Citroën and DS Automobiles franchise in Stafford. As sales controller for both brands you will be working closely with the General Manager to ensure success in profitability through achievement of our objectives for used and new car sales, loyalty promoting finance products and added value products.

This is a selling Sales Controller position where you will benefit from both, generating your own business as well as assisting your colleagues with their own. 


Supporting the General Manager in the development and growth of the business you are to;

  • Assist in the development of the team through demonstrating and encouraging the skills required to continuously deliver an exceptional performance.
  • Motivate the team to ensure that their activity levels deliver the results that are expected.
  • When required, create customer offers for your colleagues, ensuring the best possible outcome for both the customer and the business.
  • Have an in depth knowledge of the manufacturers commercial policies to ensure our opportunities are maximised.
  • Help ensure our used and new car sales platforms are displayed to their very best at all times.
  • Follow operational standards.
  • Adhere to W R Davies policies and processes.

Representing two brands requires you to have indepth knowledge of both manufacturer’s campaigns and their commercial policies. Keeping up to date with a fast moving and ever changing marketing place is vital to success.

To be considered for this role you must: 

  • Hold at least 5 years of proven success in automotive sales environment within a franchised main dealer.
  • Candidates must also hold a full UK driving licence.
  • You must have excellent communication skills,
  • Be able to liaise confidently with customers,
  • Be IT literate
  • Have strong organisational skills
  • Have the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of Pinnacle and EnquiryMAX would be advantageous, however transferable experience with other DMS/ CRM providers will also be considered as the relevant training will be provided

Normal Hours: 09:00 – 18:30 (Mon-Fri, with a day off in the week), 09:00 – 17:30 (Saturday), 10:00 – 16:00 (Every other Sunday).
