Purchase Ledger Clerk

Due to an internal promotion, we have an immediate opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join our business, , established for nearly 100 years. A rare and fantastic opportunity has arisen, working from our head office in Shrewsbury, you will join a friendly, busy and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be dealing purchase ledger management, and responsibilities will include:

  • Manually inputting invoices on to the system (approx. 1000 per month)
  • Matching invoices to POs and GRNs
  • Handling invoice queries
  • Reconciliations to statements
  • Intercompany recharges
  • Creating payment run
  • Loading on to bank for review
  • Administrative processes associated with accounts payable


Do you have what we are looking for?

    The ideal candidate for purchase ledger invoice clerk will have 12 months + finance experience, and fast/accurate data input skills. Knowledge of Excel is an advantage. You will be experienced in purchase ledger and should be able to hit the ground running.
