The UK Government has launched a £650 million Electric Car Grant (ECG) initiative to support consumers in purchasing eligible new electric vehicles. The grant is automatically applied at the point of sale by dealerships - no paperwork, no hassle - making the transition to electric driving simpler than ever.
The ECG provides tiered financial support for electric vehicles priced at £37,000 or less. Grant amounts are set at two levels: £3,750 and £1,500, depending on specific eligibility criteria, including the sustainability of the vehicle’s manufacturing process.
