All-New Nissan LEAF 75kWh Price Announced: Everything You Need to Know
Nissan has confirmed that the all-new, British-built Nissan LEAF will qualify for the UK government’s £3,750 Electric Car Grant. The new LEAF 75kWh model has a range of up to 386 miles on a single charge and prices will start from £32,249. Production begins in Sunderland in December, with first customer deliveries planned for February.
A more affordable way into fully electric driving
James Taylor, Managing Director of Nissan GB, said: “We are delighted to confirm LEAF pricing at £32,249 including the Electric Car Grant. This gives customers an accessible way to move into electric driving. The new LEAF provides up to 386 miles of range, advanced technology and the confidence that comes with Nissan’s long experience in electric vehicles. It is also built here in the UK.”
Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander said: “Nissan helped pioneer early EV ownership with the original LEAF, so it is great to see them support our plan to make electric driving more affordable. Alongside saving drivers money, this is a boost for manufacturing in the North East and supports thousands of local jobs.”
About the All-New Nissan LEAF
With a WLTP range of up to 386 miles and a host of advanced features, the new Nissan LEAF has been designed for drivers who want efficiency, comfort and practical electric motoring. Key updates include:
Customers can choose from four trims: Engage, Engage+, Advance and Evolve.
A second model with a 52kWh battery will also be available, offering up to 271 miles of range. Pricing for that version will be confirmed later.
