Minimum 12-month warranty
Every Nissan Intelligent Choice used car comes with a manufacturer-approved warranty for a minimum of 12 months. You can also opt to upgrade to an additional 12 or 24 months, as long as your car is serviced in accordance with manufacturer requirements.

MOT Care
If your vehicle is more than two years old at the time of sale, MOT Care is also included, which covers the cost of repairing, replacing or adjusting specific defective parts in the unlikely event your approved used car doesn't pass its next MOT.

EV Battery Quality Guarantee

We know you want the reassurance of a functional battery when you purchase a used EV. That's why we promise to replace any part of the battery causing capacity loss below 9 bars (out of 12), within the battery warranty period.

30 DAY/1,000 MILE EXCHANGE PROMISE

Because Nissan technicians have made every effort to ensure your used car looks, feels and drives as good as new, we confidently offer you a 30 day/1,000 mile exchange promise. In the unlikely event your Nissan Intelligent Choice used car develops a fault that cannot be resolved within the first thirty days or 1,000 miles (whichever occurs first) of your ownership, we will exchange it for another of our approved used cars of at least equal value.​

​HOW ARE NISSAN INTELLIGENT CHOICE CARS CERTIFIED?

To even be considered for certification, the Nissan vehicle must be under 5 years old and have less than 75,000 miles on the odometer. Then we put it through two comprehensive checks: first a background on the car‘s history, then an inspection of the car itself. This ensures that only the very best vehicles ultimately receive the Nissan Intelligent Choice seal of approval - so you can enjoy the same peace of mind as when you buy new.​​

BACKGROUND CHECK

You can also feel confident about your car‘s history. Before any secondhand car is certified, an independent company does a background check to ensure the car is not stolen, that there is no outstanding finance, it has never been written off and that the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) corresponds to DVLA records.​​

100-POINT INSPECTION

Every Nissan Intelligent Choice used car (which must be under 5 years old with less than 75,000 miles) has been obsessively checked by Nissan-trained technicians to ensure it meets our exceptionally high standards. They check the exterior and interior, engine, transmission and suspension components, the electrical system, brakes and more. And of course, there's a road test. Along with a detailed summary of the inspection, you'll also receive a short video detailing the condition of the main mechanical and technical components.
