Available as part of CITROËN's award winning Ready-To-Run Specialist Relay Conversion Programme, the Dropside comes in L2, L3, and L3 Crew Cab versions. Longer L4 variants and special adaptations, beyond that of the standard specification, are also available to meet your particular load carrying requirements.
Based on the 160hp Plus specification, features include air-conditioning, Bluetooth, DAB digital radio, reinforced battery, heavy duty twin-leaf rear suspension, and extended door mirrors.
The load space sides and tailboard are one-piece aluminium profiles, with silver anodised finish and fully integrated lock and hinges, providing a smooth contoured surface, ideal for corporate livery. The deck is one-piece 15mm, full birch, non-slip, phenolic coated plywood with powder-coated aluminium perimeter housing retractable load retention rings rated at 800kg each. The bulkhead provides maximum protection and visibility, whilst providing a gantry capable of supporting over-load lengths of up to 400kg.
With a light, but strong, chassis, the CITROËN Relay is a favourite with convertors, being easy to adapt, and with operators, who welcome its impressive payload capabilities. Whilst lead times can pose an issue with many manufacturers, CITROËN's dedicated programme ensures a steady through-put of vehicles, with stock generally readily available, or only a handful of weeks away.
* Payload (excluding driver) is calculated including oil, lubricants, tools, spare wheel & 90% full fuel tank. When calculating payload, an average figure for the driver is 75kg (driver's weight may vary). Additional passengers & accessories must be taken into account. It is the operator's responsibility that the plate weights are not exceeded. Please note that masses and dimensions are subject to 8% engineering tolerances.
