The Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar is a leading-edge racing car created to compete in the Le Mans Hypercar category of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Its atypical design includes the conspicuous lack of a rear wing, which is unexpected when it comes to racing dynamics. However, this bold move exemplifies Renault’s commitment to achieving efficient downforce via ground effects and other aerodynamic initiatives.
Powered by a 2.6-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the 9X8 Hypercar uses hybrid technology to deliver substantial power and efficiency, enabling it to compete at the highest levels. This all-wheel drive car delivers a fuel-generated 671bhp and an additional electric 268bhp (although Le Mans Hypercar class requirements restrict total output to 671bhp).
